The Robinson Township Police Department is the primary law enforcement entity of Robinson Township, a first class township in the southwestern area of Pennsylvania. Located in Allegheny County, midway between the City of Pittsburgh and the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, the Robinson Township Police Department consists of 28 full-time officers and three sergeants headed by Chief Timothy Westwood.
The Robinson Township Police Department is dedicated to the safety and service of the community and its citizenry. Its primary goal is to provide the police services of criminal suppression and prosecution through investigation, patrol and pro-active law enforcement as well as public safety and assistance to the citizens of Robinson Township through its traffic enforcement and investigation and community involvement.
