– Public Works Supervisor –
Robinson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania is currently recruiting for the position of Public Works Supervisor. The Supervisor leads the Public Works Department by providing supervisory direction to the Department and professional advice to the Board of Commissioners, Township Manager and staff in the maintenance and development of the roads, storm sewers, parks and vehicle fleet, and other Township assets. The Supervisor is responsible for preparing an annual budget and capital improvement plan, as well as assessing the costs and benefits of new and existing initiatives. The Supervisor represents the Township in relations with the public, community groups, and other municipalities and outside agencies. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of new ideas and proven practices to the position. The Supervisor is expected to have strong leadership, communication and people skills; the ability to manage in a busy environment; and knowledge of state and federal regulations.
